As a firm, our primary focus is on resolving family, juvenile and criminal law issues for people in Will County and nearby portions of the Greater Chicago area. And with extensive experience in each of those practice areas, we feel that we are especially well-suited to handle high conflict family disputes and serious criminal charges involving allegations of abuse, neglect or domestic violence within the family unit.

Chrystel L. Gavlin began her legal career working as a prosecutor, first in DuPage County and then in Will County, where she prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony offenses, including aggravated battery, sexual abuse and drug cases. Additionally, during her time at the Will County State's Attorney's Office, she also served as Supervisor of that office's Domestic Violence Unit. After five years, Ms. Gavlin left the State's Attorney's Office to pursue a career in private practice.

Today, with more than 13 years of experience helping all kinds of people through some of the most unsettling and difficult times of their lives, Ms. Gavlin knows how important and helpful it is to take the time to listen, to explain legal issues clearly and to respond promptly whenever a client has a question or concern.
