Professionally, Ms. Gavlin started her career as a prosecutor, initially in the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and later in the Will County District Attorney's Office. During her time at the State's Attorney's Office, she prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and felony offenses, including aggravated battery, sexual abuse and drug cases. Additionally, during her time at the Will County State's Attorney's Office, she also served as Supervisor of that office's Domestic Violence Unit. Five years later she left the State's Attorney's Office and has now been serving Will County clients in private practice for nearly a decade.
Personally, Ms. Gavlin is a compassionate, understanding person who will take the time to listen to you explain your situation and what you are concerned about. She will keep you up to date on the status of your case and she will be accessible to you from start to finish.
